While working at iLink Digital as a User Experience Architect and then as the UX Practice Manager. I was a design lead and consultant on Windows Phone 7/8 and Windows 8/10 apps working directly with Microsoft’s and the partner organization’s clients and promoting the Metro design system and Microsoft technologies in both the consumer and enterprise space.
One of these program iniatives was advising startups and small businesses across the world on design and development best practices regarding the Windows Mobile Phone platform. In this capacity along with the software development teams for Windows 8 and Surface, we won Microsoft’s Windows Mobility Partner of the Year and Windows 8 Growth Partner of the Year.
A project I am quite passionate about. I oversaw the design and user research on as a designer and researcher was a Pixel Sense and Surface application working with Microsoft and Epic (UN World Food Programme's digital service) in building a situational awareness application to support humanitarian efforts because of the 2015 floods in Pakistan. We won Microsoft's Public Safety Public Sector Partner of the Year for this effort, but most importantly, we helped a lot of people in need.
Creating the Windows 8 app experience for the ubiqitous grading and classroom support app.

This project was not a Microsoft Partnership project, however it was a visual design and information architecture project shipped on SharePoint 2016.
