There are 9 screens total. Screen 1: "Boarding" Paul calls VCA as he wants to board his pets for an extended weekend and is price shopping so he can get the best deal. Brianna answers the call and starts a new boarding appointment. Screen 1a: "Waitlist/Overbooking Tooltip" Aside - Brianna checks to see what Waitlist means by hovering over the calendar date cell. The ability to waitlist a pet is customizable in the Hospital Administration Tool. Screen 1b: "Cage Infromation" Aside - Brianna hovers over the Cage header for an x-large dog cage to review the tooltip information. Screen 2: "Select a Cage and Dates" Brianna selects the dates and cage size Paul tells her he is interested in to get a quick base estimate. Note: The boarding feature automatically fills in Drop off and Pick up times based on the Hospital Configuration set up. She has the ability to override and customize these to Paul’s needs. Dog cages are also the default as the majority of boardings are for Dogs. Screen 3: "Add 2 Pets For a Quote" Brianna selects the date range from the calendar to fill out the dates and times. There is also the ability to tab through the UI controls with the keyboard to fill out the form. Brianna chooses 2 pets as Paul indicated he wants to board 2 of his pets. The second cage automatically defaults to the same cage that was selected prior. Brianna can override this by selecting a different cage. Screen 4: "Search for a Client" Paul agrees to make the booking and provides Brianna with his name and the names of his pets. Brianna searches for Paul and asks if he is an existing client by asking who his pets are. Screen 5: "Add 1st Pet" Brianna asks which pet is coming for a visit, Paul responds that he wants to board two of his three pets. He tells Brianna that it will be his dog Sparky and Cat Boots Brianna adds a second cage and chooses Cat condo. Sometimes Brianna knows the prices of each cage. She will know while selecting the pet what the pets age and weight is and will communicate that to Paul at this stage to select the appropriate sized cage. Note: She can remove the cage if she accidentally selects too many. She can also add multiple pets to the same cage as appropriate. Screen 6: "Add 2nd Pet" Brianna asks which pet is coming for a visit, Paul responds that he wants to board two of his three pets. He tells Brianna that it will be his dog Sparky and Cat Boots Brianna adds a second cage and chooses Cat condo. Sometimes Brianna knows the prices of each cage. She will know while selecting the pet what the pets age and weight is and will communicate that to Paul at this stage to select the appropriate sized cage. Screen 7: "Pets Done Up" Brianna now sees the pets and photos assigned in each cage. She can now move on to capture any other boarding details and suggest additional add ons to give Paul the final estimate and schedule the boardings Screen 8: "Draft Stage" Brianna fills out the details for each pet and sees some Due items that are required for Sparky. Paul declines those and agrees to purchase the Deluxe Doggie sports package (made up) and agrees to provide food for the boarding duration. He also informs Brianna that Sparky might bite when he gets excited and gives a local emergency contact as he will be out of town. Brianna books the appointment and is reassured with a system status message informing her the boarding was successfully booked.
